About me
My name is Aubrey Bassham-Schaefer (she/her).
I believe we are the experts in our own growth, and that everyone is capable of healing. My style is warm, friendly, and very interactive. I enjoy using humor when its appropriate, and getting to know my clients really well. I believe it is important for therapists to show up as their authentic selves with their clients. My goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship where you can heal, explore, and thrive.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University, and I am a Licensed Board Certified Clinical Social Worker with the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners and the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.On a more personal note, I’m a native New Mexican. I have three children, a partner, and too many dogs. I am passionate about art, adventure, travel, the outdoors, athletic activities, and the incredible art and science of healing.
